A cadre of Netra Bikram Chand-led CPN Maoist died in Dhangadi after a bomb carried by him exploded prematurely on Monday night.
Party's special bureau member Chandra Singh died in the explosion at Khanepani tole at around 10 pm last night.
Kailali SP Arjun Chand informed Singh was entering a hotel when the bomb kept inside his bag exploded. "He died on his way to Seti Zonal Hospital," Chand said.
Police said the bomb carried by Singh was remote-controlled. Singh, a native of Bajhang district was living at Jugeda in Dhangadi sub-metropolitan city.
