A pressure cooker bomb was found at a police post at Basgadi bazaar in Bardiya district on Monday.

SP Bharat Bahadur Bohora informed the cooker was packed with gun powder and was later disposed by a Nepal Army bomb disposal squad.

It has not been known on who planted the bomb in the post.

Basgadi has been listed as most sensitive that might witness violence or other anti-election activities during the second phase of local level election.
