55 election officials under RJP-N cadres control in Saptari
Cadres of Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal (RJP-N) have taken at least 55 election officers deployed in Saptari district under their control.Cadres of Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal (RJP-N) have taken at least 55 election officers deployed in Saptari district under their control.
Cadres of the agitating Madhes-based party have taken Kapil Dev Yadav, Kejulal Chaudhary, Rabindra Shah, Arun Kumar Das, Baidhyanath Shah and Bindhu Khanga under their control while the officers were about to begin an election-related training programme at Mahendra Bindeshwori Multiple Campus in district headquarters Rajbiraj.

The cadres have picketed the campus and are protesting outside the campus premises. The officers are inside the campus.
Local administration has deployed numbers of Nepal Police and Armed Police Force personnel in the area.
RJP-N has refused to take part in second phase of local bodies election until their demands including constitution amendment are fulfilled by the government.
