The government has decided to table a Bill at the Legislature Parliament to amend the Registration of Political Parties Act.
A Cabinet meeting convened on Saturday decided to take the Registration of Political Parties Act 2073.
According to Finance Minister and government spokesperson Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, the government is preparing to amend the Act in order to ensure the participation of political parties in the second phase of local polls.
