UML lawmaker injured as passenger bus hits his car

CPN-UML lawmaker from Sindhuli district constitutency-1, Ganesh Pahadi, was injured when a speeding passenger bus hit the car he was travelling in near Kaliaap of Golenjor Village council-1 in Okhaldhunga district on Saturday.
A passenger bus (Ba 4 Kha 3894) bound for Kathmandu hit the car (Ba 11 Cha 8169) carrying lawmaker Pahadi on the Mid-Hill highway. Lawmaker Pahadi and driver have sustained minor injuries in the accident.
The front portion of the car has been badly damaged. Area Police Office has detained the bus driver and impounded the vehicle.
The bus was moving in a high speed, eyewitnesses told the police. Pahadi was heading for his Fikkal village council based home. He is also an alternative central member of CPN-UML.
