Two persons died and 27 others were injured when a bus they were travelling in met with an accident at Jitpur-Simara Sub-Metropolitan City-1 in Bara district on Saturday.
Police identified the deceased as Balla Yadav, 45, of Rautali-6, Mahottari dsitrict and Kiran Devi Shah, 32, of Sisiwa in Tarayati, Dhanusha district.
According to the Area Police Office, Simara, the incident occurred when the bus (Na 7 Kha 1614) heading towards Janakpur from Kathmandu turned turtle this morning.
Police said that the injured are receiving treatment at various hospitals in Simara.
Meanwhile, police said that they are searching for the bus driver who fled the scene after the incident. RSS
