An improvised explosive device (IED) found near the place of vote counting of Shankharapur Municipality, Sankhu, on the north-eastern outskirts of the Kathmandu Valley, was defused on Monday.

A bomb disposal team of Nepal Army defused the IED this evening, said the police. RSS
