2 injured as Chand Maoist cadres clash with police in Kalikot
Two persons were injured when the Netra Bikram Chand-led CPN Maoist cadres clashed with police personnel in Malkot Village Council in Kalikot district on Sunday.

Two persons were injured when the Netra Bikram Chand-led CPN Maoist cadres clashed with police personnel in Malkot Village Council in Kalikot district on Sunday.
According to Chief District Officer (CDO) of Kalikot Giriraj Subedi, the police personnel were forced to open fire after the Chand Maoist cadres tried to set ablaze the ballot boxes.
He said that police personnel opened fire in retaliation after the Maoist cadres hurled stones at election officers and security personnel.
