Three cadres of Netra Bikram Chand-led Communist Party of Nepal were arrested from different parts of the district on Saturday for carrying out activities against the May 14 elections.
The arrestees—Juddha Bahadur Bishwokarma, Sujan Shrestha and Bodhraj Ghimire—have been launching anti-poll activities like threatening election contenders of various participating political parties to withdraw their candidacies, hoisting black flags at their homes and obstructing poll campaigns, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Subhas Chandra Bohara.
The arrestees would face action as per the existing law, he said. RSS
