Police have arrested three persons in possession of one kg gold from Jhapa district on Saturday morning.

The details of the arrestees, however, have not been disclosed so far.

Acting on a tip-off, police nabbed the trio from Jhiljhile area of Shivasatasi Municipality in the district.

SP Shailesh Thapa Chhetri said that investigation into the matter is going on.

Earlier on Friday, two persons were held with 100 gram silver from Chandragadhi Airport. RSS
