The agitating Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha boycotted the Legislature-Parliament meeting on Thursday.
Lawmakers of the Madhesi Morcha, an alliance of seven Madhes-based parties, walked out of the Parliament soon after lawmaker Akbal Amshad Sah spoke at the outset of the meeting that the government did not address their demands.
Similarly, lawmakers, speaking in the zero hour session of the Parliament today, have urged the government to resolve the burning issues as soon as possible.
They further urged the government to resolve political issues in view of local level elections slated for May 14.
