A person was killed and another injured when a passenger bus overturned at Golbazaar Municipality – 3 of Siraha along the East-West Highway this morning.
The bus (Na 6 Kha 4977) carrying passengers from Kathmandu to Kankarbhitta lost control at 5 am and crashed into a bridge before turning turtle. The bus driver Shyam Dhakal, 35, was killed on the spot, said Area Police Office, Golbazaar.
Among the 33 passengers onboard the bus, Suresh Devkota, 32, of Nakhu – 14, Lalitpur has been injured. He is receiving treatment at the Bhumika Hospital based in Biratnagar. RSS
