The electric power supply was severed on Sunday after Dikktel – Gaighat 33 KV Transmission Line snapped.
Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Branch Office at Dikktel said a technical team has already been dispatched to the location to repair the line. NEA said it is assuming that power transmission lines in and around Rasuwa snapped during Sunday night's storm.
The disruption in power supply has affected government and non government offices, financial transaction, trade as well as electronic and print media's publication and transmission.
The locals have been infuriated with the authorities failure to renew the supply of electricity at the earliest. They accuse the NEA employees' carelessness for the continued disruption of power. RSS
