Addressing the 19th anniversary of the Reporters' Club Nepal in the Capital on Saturday, Prime Minister Dahal said the amendment proposal of national unity, acceptable to all, would be registered and it would unite the country.
Expressing the belief that the proposal would create environment where Madhes, hilly and mountain region would go for local level lections at the same time, he urged not to cast any doubt over elections as the country has already moved ahead with determination for elections.
The Prime Minister claimed that development works would get momentum after the formation of local government.
The local level elections would help hold other two elections by coming January to make the constitution dynamic, he added.
On the occasion, Nepali Congress leader Prakash Man Singh said that the local level election was essential for effective enforcement of the constitution and urged all to join the elections.
