One killed, two injured after bus rams bike

A person was killed and two injured after being struck by a bus near Baba Gas at Khaireni in eastern Chitwan last on Sunday night.
The bus (Ba 5 Kha 8961) heading west rammed a bike (Ba 75 Pa 945) coming from the opposite direction at midnight.
Among the three riding the bike, one died in course of treatment at the Chitwan Medical College, said District Police Office, Chitwan. The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
Two others are undergoing treatment at the same medical institution for serious injuries. One of the injured has been identified as Joseph Darai, 19, of Ratnanagar Municipality while the police are trying to identify the other. Police have detained the driver and impounded the bus. RSS
