Chinese Defence Minister and State Councilor, General Chang Wanquan on Saturday visited the Basantapur Durbar Square, where various heritages enlisted in World Heritage site were damaged by the April 25, 2015 earthquake.
On the occasion, General Chang observed the area with keen interest, taking several photographs and raising concerns for its timely construction.
Following the visit, the Chinese leader shared that he was inspired by the Nepali arty-crafty.
Leading a 10-member Chinese delegation, Chang had arrived in Nepal on a three-day official visit at the invitation of Defence Minister Bal Krishna Khanda on Thursday. RSS
