CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has accused the Madhesi parties of trying to spread a new kind of conflict and violence in the country.
Addressing a programme organised as part of the party’s Mechi-Mahakali campaign in Dhangadhi of Kailali on Thursday, the UML chairman said that the Madhesi parties are hatching conspiracies to push the country towards conflict.
“Elections and amendment have no relation with each other,” Oli said, adding, “The government and other political parties are trying to divide Hills and Tarai through constitution amendment.”
Saying that his party has launched the Mechi-Mahakali campaign for national unity and prosperity, the former Prime Minister said that the UML would not let their (government and other parties) plan to be successful.
