Leader of the CPN (UML), Bharat Mohan Adhikari on Wednesday left for Bangkok, Thailand for medical treatment.
Leader Adhikari's personal aide Mahesh Bista said Adhikary has been taken to Bangkok after medical condition was seen in his intestine. He left for Bangkok on a Thai Airways flight at 11.30 am today on doctor's advice.
The former Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister will undergo treatment at the Bangkok-based Vejthani Hospital, it is stated. Adhikari will receive treatment for intestine ailment and undergo surgery for removal of hernia, Bista said.
Adhikari's spouse Om Kumari, daughter Neema Adhikari and son-in-law Sudip Acharya are accompanying the ailing leader to Bangkok. RSS
