Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha (SLMM) has formally decided to withdraw its support from the government, claiming latter took no step towards addressing its concern.
Addressing the meeting of Legislature-Parliament on Wednesday, Mahendra Raya Yadav chairperson of Tarai Madhesi Sadvawana Party said they will inform speaker Onshari Gharti about their decision.
The Morcha on March 7 had issued a seven-day ultimatum to address their concerns.
The government which currently has the support of 392 lawmakers, however, will continue to hold majority even after Morcha withdraws its support.
The parties under Morcha have 39 lawmakers at present.
