Nepal Army and Nepal Police personnel have been mobilised to remove snow from the road to smoothly operate vehicular movement in Manang.
A meeting of the District Security Committee had decided to mobilise the security personnel to clear snow from the road, Assistant Chief District Officer of Manang Dhirendra Raj Pant informed.
Heavy snowfall for the past few days had disrupted road from Timang to Khangsar in the district and road clearance work has started from Chame on Monday, said Pant.
With bulks of snow on road, it has been difficult for pedestrians to walk along and reach their destinations and for tourists to enjoy trekking along the Annapurna route. RSS
