PM Dahal to leave for China on March 23
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is scheduled to leave for China on March 23 to take part in the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) Annual Conference 2017.Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is scheduled to leave for China on March 23 to take part in the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) Annual Conference 2017. Dahal, who is for visiting China for the first time after assuming the post of prime minister, will address the conference.
According to sources at Baluwater, PM Dahal will meet Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing during his visit. PM will sign various agreements on railway and road projects in Beijing, the sources claimed.
“Preparations are being made for signing some important agreements,” the source said. “The earlier agreements signed between Nepal and China on railway project will also be continued.”
However, the schedule of Dahal’s visit has not been made public.
The four-day BFA Annual Conference 2017, themed “Globalization & Free Trade: The Asian Perspectives”, is slated to be held from March 23 to 26 in Boao, Hainan, China. The opening ceremony will be held on March 25.
