Biratnagar
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has claimed that the Madhes-based parties would also take part in the upcoming local level elections.
Talking to reporters in Biratnagar on Sunday, Dahal said the government would convince the Madhesi Morcha to participate in the elections even by increasing the number of local units in the Tarai. He added that the provincial and federal polls would also be held within the constitutional deadline of January, 2018.
Dahal had visited the eastern region to attend the eighth convocation ceremony of Purbanchal University. Eight thousand seven hundred and sixty-four graduates got their degrees at the function. (PR)
