India's Minister for Finance Arun Jaitley arrived in Kathmandu on a two-day official visit at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Krishna Bahadur Mahara on Thursday.
Finance Secretary Shanta Raj Subedi and Nepal's Ambassador to India Deep Kumar Upadhyay among other senior official received Jaitley at the Tribhuvan International Airport.
It has been learnt that he will attend the 'Nepal Investment Summit-2017', which kicked off in the Capital today.
He is scheduled to pay a courtesy call on President Bidya Devi Bhandari this evening itself.
Jaitley will call on Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and hold a separate meeting with his counterpart Mahara as well. RSS
