A pedestrian died after being hit by a motorbike in Bharatpur of Chitwan district on Friday night.
The deceased has been identified as Bir Bahadur BK, 54, of the district.
BK, who was critically injured in the incident, breathed his last during the course of treatment at the Bharatpur Medical College, police said.
The two-wheeler (Na 25 Pa 3839) heading towards Bus Park from Aanptaari area in Bhartpur hit BK in front of the Bouddha Gumpa in Bharatpur-11 at around 9:30 pm yesterday.
Police said that biker Narendra Thapa, 20, of Bharatpur-10 and pillion rider Bikaram Tamang, 19, of Dhading were injured in the incident.
They are undergoing treatment at the same hospital.
Thapa is said to be in critical condition, police informed. RSS
