One killed, three others injured in house wall collapse
A worker was killed when a wall of the house of a local resident gave way and fell on him at Birgunj Sub Metropolitan City-13 on Saturday morning. Other three workers were injured.
A worker was killed when a wall of the house of a local resident gave way and fell on him at Birgunj Sub Metropolitan City-13 on Saturday morning. Other three workers were injured.
The deceased has been identified as Ram Purakar Sahani of Ramaulati VDC in Rautahat.
Sahani alongside other three labourers was constructing drainage and laying water pipeline under the Secondary Towns Integrated Urban Environment Improvement Project with subsidy from Asian Development Bank, when the accident occurred, police said.
Of the other injured workers—Upendra Das, Baleshwor Sahani and Ganesh Sah, all from Rautahat undergoing treatment at Birgunj-based Narayani Sub Regional Hospital, two are reported to be in serious condition.
