Property worth around Rs three million was reduced to ashes when a fire broke out at a grocery store in Dharan-6 on Wednesday night.
According to DSP Dakendra Khatiwada, the store belonging to Santosh Kumar Bhagat was engulfed in the blaze.
The fire was later taken under control with the help of police, locals and a fire engine of Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City.
The cause behind the fire was electric short circuit, police informed.
