A police constable was killed after a bike crashed into a pole at Sitapur stretch of the East – West Highway.
The deceased has been identified as Gyandev Yadav, 33, of Prasbani VDC – 5, Area Polcie Office, Rupani said. The police constable working at Thoksilla of Udayapur was heading west in the ill-fated bike (Ko 26 Pa 3001) when the accident took place.
Yadav, who has seriously injured, died in course of treatment at the Rajbiraj-based Gajendranarayan Singh Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital, police said. RSS
