A rhino calf was killed in a tiger attack in Bardiya National Park (BNP) on Sunday. According to Ramesh Kumar Thapa, acting chief conservation officer, the tiger mauled the eight-month old calf in Babai Valley. The calf was born to a rhino that was translocated to the BNP from Chitwan last year. (PR)
