Former King Gyanendra Shah attended the marriage ceremony of President Bidya Devi Bhandari’s daughter Nisha Kusum at the President’s official residence in Sheetal Niwas in Kathmandu on Monday.
Nisha Kusum tied the knot with former President Ram Baran Yadav’s nephew Abhisekh.
The deposed king spent about 20 minutes at Sheetal Niwas.
Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Chief Justice Sushila Karki, former Prime Ministers, former Chair of the Council of Ministers, incumbent lawmakers, Rastrakavi Madhav Prasad Ghimire and diplomats attended the wedding ceremony of the youngest daughter of the head-of-the-state, according to President's personal deputy-secretary Deepa Sharma.
