Three persons were killed when a Biratnagar-bound bus (Na 6 Kha 2931) hit a motorcycle (Ko 29 Kha 5530) along the East West Highway at Haripur-8 in Sunsari on Saturday.

The deceased have been identified as Suman Bastola of Hasandaha in Morang and Kanchha Tamang of Itahari-5 in Sunsari, the motorcycle rider and a pillion passenger respectively.

The third deceased is yet to be identified, police said. The driver of the bus that rammed the motorcycle has been held and investigation was going on, Superintendent of Police Poshraj Pokharel said. RSS
