Two people fell to death from a cliff at Salyan district on Monday night.
The police have identified the victims as Bharthari Chaudhary, 45 and Lamari Chaudhary, 44 of Thapachaur, Kailali-6. The victims were labourers working to construct a suspension bridge at Bahunghat, Bamey-3 in the district.
They fell some 50 metres off Karasi cliff of Bamey VDC, while returning from Chedabazar, Jajarkot with building materials for the bridge at around 10 pm yesterday night.
Both the victims were dead on the spot. The bodies of the deceased have been sent to Surkhet District Hopsital for post mortem.
