A tanker driver was looted after he was shot at his left leg by an unidentified gang in the bordering of Raxaul in India on Tuesday.
Tanker driver Tularam Upadhyay, of Amlekhgunj-4, was heading to Pokhara from Barauni of India after filling the tanker (Na 5 Kha 8845) when the incident took place.
The gang robbed Indian currency Rs 4,500 notes from the driver after beating him, said SP Govinda Kumar Shah of Parsa district.
Police said driver Upadhyay's health condition is out of danger. RSS
