A girl who is unable to speak has been gang raped by two men in Jajarkot district.

Police said the girl was raped while returning home from a local fair with her friends.

Police has arrested Bishwa Thapa, 20, and Padam Mahar, 22, on charge of raping the girl. The two were arrested based on the reports submitted by the victim's friends who had fled the scene after the two snatched her.

Inspector Hikmat Bohora said the two took her to a nearby jungle and took their turns to rape her. The girl's father reported to police when she returned home crying.

Inspector Bohora said police has asked the friends of the victims to communicate through sign language and is investigating the case.
