Nepali handed life imprisonment in Bahrain for murder
A Bahrain court has sentenced a Nepali migrant worker to life in prison for the murder of his own friend, Nepali Embassy in Bahrain said on Thursday.

A Bahrain court has sentenced a Nepali migrant worker to life in prison for the murder of his own friend, Nepali Embassy in Bahrain said on Thursday.
Til Bahadur Garbuja, of Pokhara, was convicted of killing a fellow Nepali Dipendra Basnet, of Morang, by slitting his throat on May 17, 2015, while he was asleep at a camp provided by the company. He was arrested on the same day.
Both Nepalis were working as security guards in Securicor Company.
It is learnt that the duo had traded dispute the previous day of the incident. According to a statement given by Basnet's friend in a local newspaper, Basnet was sleeping in his room as he had a day off.
"When I entered the room, Garbuja was exiting from the room. He did not speak to me. When I called Dipendra, he did not react and so I lifted the blanket and found him dead with slashed throat. The entire bed was covered with blood," said Dipendra's friend in his statement.
The police reached the incident site immediately after the incident. Police discovered that Basnet's genitals too were cut off. Garbuja had posted a video of the murder in social media sites.
