A Romanian national, Adina Monica Popescu, who had gone missing while trekking at the Annapurna Conservation Area, has been found dead.
The police had launched a search operation after Popescu went missing more than a week ago.
She was found dead at confluence of So Ooi and Modi rivers on Sunday night, Annapurna Conservation Area Project's Area Conservation Office-Dhandruk Chief, Bidur Bikram Kuinkel said.
She was last seen heading towards Syaauli Bazaar from Chumrung on July 16. The police have launched an investigation into the mysterious death of the tourist. RSS
