Lightning kills four people
Four persons died after being struck by lightning in separate incidents in Chitwan, Makwanpur and Bara districts on Tuesday evening.

Four persons died after being struck by lightning in separate incidents in Chitwan, Makwanpur and Bara districts on Tuesday evening. The thunderbolt killed Kamala Pun, 21, of Chitraban-12 and Mana Bahadur Tamang, 30, of Rapti-8 in Chitwan, said police. In Makwanpur, Rana Bahadur Chepang, 33, of Kakada-1 died as the lighting struck him as he was grazing cattle in a local forest. In Bara, 30-year-old Uma Devi died after being struck by lightning in Rampurwa-2. (PR)
