Four persons died after being struck by lightning in separate incidents in Chitwan, Makwanpur and Bara districts on Tuesday evening. The thunderbolt killed Kamala Pun, 21, of Chitraban-12 and Mana Bahadur Tamang, 30, of Rapti-8 in Chitwan, said police. In Makwanpur, Rana Bahadur Chepang, 33, of Kakada-1 died as the lighting struck him as he was grazing cattle in a local forest. In Bara, 30-year-old Uma Devi died after being struck by lightning in Rampurwa-2. (PR)
