Gaeso president accuses Britain of enslaving Nepalis

Organising a press conference ahead of British Prince Harry’s scheduled Pokhara visit, Gurung claimed the Gurkha servicemen were having identity crisis because the British government were “enslaving the young Nepalis” in the name of recruiting them in the British Army.
The servicemen could neither maintain their Nepali identity nor become British nationals, added Gurung.
Prince Harry is expected to visit Pokhara on Tuesday and meet the Gurkha veterans.
Gaeso President Gurung said that it would be hypocriical of the prince to visit the ex-Gurkha servicemen.
