The trail connecting to Piple, Bhagawati, Begkhola, Dagnam, Doba, Bhurung Tatopani, Dana, Chimkhola and Kuinemangale in Myagdi is also known as an alternative route to the Beni-Jomsom foot trail already displaced with the expansion of motor roads network.
Dhruba Kumar Paija, chairman of the foot trail management committee, said that construction of the track from Rungese to Dabuki completed with the assistance of Rs 1 million from the Ministry of Tourism.
Last year, the path was expanded up to Lhoso Dhuri with aid worth Rs 700,000 from the Eastern Regional Chapter Pokhara of the Trekking Agencies' Association of Nepal (TAAN) and the Myagdi District Development Committee.
"The preliminary construction of the track has been completed. Now the works to install information boards on the path are yet to start," he said, adding that the trail management committee has asked the TAAN to draw maps for the installation of information boards.
As part of an idea to attract tourists in the areas, view towers would also be installed at Sobangdhuri at 3800 meters from the sea level and Dahabuki at 4500 meters from the sea level for the visitors to view the panorama of the areas, the path management committee said.
