Locals of Karnali region took out a victory rally in Jumla on Saturday, hailing the decision of major political parties to include all five districts of Karnali zone in the proposed province No. 6.

Locals of Karnali region took out a victory rally in Jumla on Saturday, hailing the decision of major political parties to include all five districts of Karnali zone in the proposed province No. 6. They also thanked the political leaders for addressing their demands.
Local people along with leaders and supporters of various political parties in the region had been agitating for 12 days, demanding that the region should be split from the Far-West and be declared an autonomous state.
Bir Bahadur Kunwar, district chairman of the UCPN (Maoist), said that the political parties have shown their respect to the people of the region by addressing their demands.
