As many as 277 complaints related to corruption have been registered at Advocacy and Legal Advice Center and Development Pact (ALACDP) in the district, run by the Transparency International Nepal under its program for lessening corruption.
The complaints are related to irregularities, corruption and embezzlements, said Junu Dhakal, program officer.
Most of the cases are related to the irregularities and lethargic services of the Nepal Electricity Authority Office, the Municipality Office, the District Hospital, the District Administration Office and the District Land Revenue Office, Dhakal added.
The center collected the complaints through letters, email and telephone calls, center sources said.
An immediate initiation will be taken to solve the cases in consultation with the authorities concerned, it is learnt. RSS
