Gold and silver prices continue to rise

Prices of gold and silver have continued to rise in local markets.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of one tola (11.663 grams) of fine gold reached Rs306,600 and silver Rs5,290 on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, gold was at Rs305,500 per tola and silver Rs5,240. On Monday, gold traded at Rs304,600 per tola and silver at Rs5,250.
Internationally, an ounce of gold is trading at USD5,060 and silver at USD82, according to global media reports.
