NOC increases petrol and diesel prices

Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has raised the prices of petroleum products, citing a hike in the new purchase rate sent by Indian Oil Corporation.
As per the decision of the NOC board of directors, the price of petrol has been increased by Re1 per litre, while the prices of diesel and kerosene have been raised by Rs2 per litre.
The revised prices will come into effect from 12 midnight on Sunday, NOC said in a press release issued on Sunday.
As per the revised prices, the petrol will cost Rs160 per litre while the kerosene and diesel will cost Rs145 per litre in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dipayal.
