NEPSE drops by 13.69 points amid broad-based decline
Benchmark index falls 0.51 percent on Wednesday; turnover drops below Rs10 billion.

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index fell by 13.69 points on Wednesday, closing at 2,664.47. The 0.51 percent decline comes after two consecutive sessions of double-digit gains earlier in the week.
Of the total companies traded, share prices of 77 rose while 170 declined. One company’s share price remained unchanged.
The trading floor recorded 81,703 transactions, with a total of 22,075,769 shares changing hands. The day’s turnover stood at Rs9.90 billion, down from Tuesday’s Rs10.16 billion.
Among the 13 trading sub-indices, all except Hydropower posted losses. The Hydropower sub-index was the only gainer, rising by 40.84 points.
