Post Report
Laminar Tiles, Nepal’s first and only vitrified tile brand, has launched the country’s first and only full-body tile collection, CENTO. Expanding its premium collection, Laminar has introduced CENTO, an extremely durable, strong, high-quality full-body tile. Full-body tiles have a uniform design throughout their surface and entire thickness, similar to natural stone. This ensures no visible change in color or texture, even with wear or chipping.
Ashutosh Khetan, Managing Director of Lumbini Ceramics, the manufacturer of Laminar Tiles, stated that CENTO tiles have a PEI Rating of 5, making them ideal for high-traffic areas such as airports, shopping malls, hotels, hospitals, parking areas, pavements, and both commercial and residential spaces. The company further states that CENTO has shown superior results in chemical resistance tests compared to natural granite. It has passed tests for stain resistance, household and swimming pool chemical resistance, and resistance to both high and low-density acids and alkalis.
