Kajaria Tiles begins local production in Nepal
The company aims to make its products widely available.Post Report
Kajaria Tiles, a multinational brand, is now being produced locally in Nepal through a facility established in Nawalparasi. The production plant, a collaboration between Ramesh Corp and India’s Kajaria Ceramics Limited, began operations in 2079 BS under the name Kajaria Ramesh Tiles Limited.
Despite being produced locally, the tiles are priced 20-25 percent lower than imported alternatives, offering customers a cost-effective option without compromising quality, Himanshu Aggarwal, director of Kajaria Ramesh Tiles Limited, said.
“The demand for Kajaria Tiles in Nepal is growing steadily. We are committed to providing high-quality, affordable products that meet our customers’ needs,” he said, adding that the company was excited by the response it has received from the market.
With a distribution network of over 100 dealers and distributors nationwide, the company aims to make its products widely accessible, he added. “The introduction of Kajaria Tiles in Nepal is expected to contribute to the growth and modernisation of the country’s construction industry.”
