The government has announced establishing a consumer court.
Finance Minister Barsha Man Pun made the announcement on Tuesday while unveiling the budget for the fiscal year 2024-25. He said the necessary budget has been allocated to establish the court.
“Activities like black-marketing and syndicate in the market will be controlled,” Pun said while presenting the budget, “Consumer court will also be formed. I have allocated a budget for the purpose.”
