PM Dahal meets with delegation of Confederation of Indian Industry

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said the government is ready to facilitate foreign investors willing to invest in Nepal.
Dahal met with Sanjiv Puri, president designate of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), and the Indian delegation. The delegation also held meetings with Finance Minister Barsha Man Pun and Minister of Industry, Commerce and Supplies Damodar Bhandari on Wednesday.
The CII team was in Kathmandu to participate in the 58th annual general meeting of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
Dahal told them that the Nepal government is willing to make policy reforms to facilitate foreign investors. He pledged logistical support to foreign investors and urged the CII delegation to facilitate investment in Nepal.
Meanwhile, Finance Minister Pun said the Indian economy plays a big role in the Nepali economy too. He assured the Indian delegation that he would do everything within his capacity to promote trade and investment between Nepal and India.
Industry Minister Bhandari said all the necessary support would be available to facilitate industries that are being set up by foreign investors in Nepal.
