Dusit International, one of Thailand’s leading hotel and property development companies, has ventured into the Nepali tourism industry with its first establishment, Dusit Thani Himalayan Resort in Dhulikhel.

The Dusit Thani Himalayan Resort situated near the renowned Buddhist pilgrimage site Namo Buddha introduces Dusit’s unique brand of Thai-inspired gracious hospitality imbued with local culture and traditions.

As part of its initial opening, Dusit Thani Himalayan Resort Dhulikhel will offer 28 exquisitely designed rooms, including four junior suites and 18 luxurious residences, the resort said in a statement.

The second phase of operations is slated to being at the end of the year and will feature an additional 26 keys, bringing the total number of keys to 72.

The rate for a night’s stay for single occupancy ranges from Rs 32,999 - Rs 42,999 exclusive of taxes.

“At Dusit Thani Himalayan Resort Dhulikhel wellness takes centre stage. Dusit’s signature Devarana Wellness offers an array of tailored wellness activities and experiences that cater to individual preferences and needs,” the statement reads.

Guests can enjoy the stunning views of the Himalayas and valleys from the infinity swimming pool and outdoor Jacuzzi and also use steam, sauna, and fitness centre facilities for a complete wellness experience.

“The opening of Dusit Thani Himalayan Resort Dhulikhel marks the beginning of an exciting chapter in Dhulikhel’s hospitality landscape,” said Kris Panya, the general manager of the resort. “We are thrilled to unveil this magnificent haven that reflects our core values of care, commitment, and can-do attitude.”

Marvendra Mor, principal partner of Omstone Asia Capital Nepal Pvt. Ltd, the owning company of Dusit Thani Himalayan Resort Dhulikhel, said, "From the inception of this project, I have envisioned a sanctuary nestled amidst the awe-inspiring beauty of the Himalayas, where guests could immerse themselves in a world of bespoke luxury and authentic local experiences.”
