Businessmen agitating against high-interest rates for the last four days withdrew their protest on Tuesday.
Dinesh Shrestha, vice-president of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, said the businessmen have withdrawn their protest after Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Tuesday evening promised to look into their problems.
Shrestha said the government has taken their problem seriously.
