Imagine Nepal to explore Rara
Imagine Nepal is back with another expedition after the successful conquests of Manang and Lomangthang
Imagine Nepal is back with another expedition after the successful conquests of Manang and Lomangthang. This year counts as the third consecutive year in the tenure of Imagine Nepal, who has been the biggest organisers when it comes to events that focuses on adventure tourism.
Imagine Nepal for 2018 will head to Rara as the prime destination, with more highlights like Bardia National Park and Nepalgunj to be added to the route. This year, Mahindra has announced the introduction of Mahindra Adventure, which aims to give wings to adventure seeking enthusiasts of Nepal.
It will continue to dwell in its spirit of adventure through a series of events spread across the year, spear-headed by Road to RARA expedition in association with Imagine Nepal. All of Mahindra Adventure initiatives will be led by Agni Group in Nepal. This Road to Rara will provide a boost to the Visit Karnali campaign announced by Nepal Tourism Board for the year 2018. With more than 80 participants and 25 vehicles traversing the rugged terrains of Nepal to Manang, in 2016, and Lomangthang, in 2017, Imagine Nepal has by far been the biggest off-road event in Nepal, said a press statement.
This year too, Imagine Nepal aims to take a convoy with similar strength in numbers as they take on the challenge of exploring the west. The road to the west and back is a long one spanning 1,800 km. This year, Imagine Nepal will be shifting its gears and moving a little out of the hardcore off-road attributes they are known for, it said. To cater to its participants and stay relevant to the concept of luxury tourism in Nepal, Imagine Nepal plans to introduce two packages for the expedition to Rara; where one will include the hardcore off-road trip and the other will have the luxury of air travel to cut down on the fatigue of a longer drive. Similarly, Imagine Nepal through its promotional edge aims to assist the Visit Karnali campaign announced by the Karnali province.
Imagine Nepal is organised by Movers and Shakers Events, which carries the vision of enhancing the tourism in and of Nepal.
